The Problem - Nozzle Blockage in Keg Wash Water Recycle System
We were approached by one the world’s largest producers of Beer to provide a filtration solution to avoid nozzle blockage in their water re-use system. They were concerned that small particulates could block the nozzle and reduce the efficiency of the wash system over time, leading to expensive maintenance and replacement costs.
The Solution - acuraWedge Self Cleaning Filter
We supplied our acuraWedge 1FUC self-cleaning filters to provide a solution with very low maintenance demand and zero consumables cost. acuraWedge filters are compact, inline and easy to maintain automatic filters. These self-cleaning filters can be supplied in a food grade finish and sanitary connections. acuraWedge self cleaning filters come with a wedge wire basket in a range of micron ratings. The dirt is collected in the bottom chamber which can be purged automatically at regular intervals with an actuated valve. These self-cleaning filters do not require backwash and avoid water waste.
