Customised Bag Filter Housing
Customised lid design, lifting handle and differential pressure gauge to indicate blocked filters
We were asked to customise our multi bag housings to suit specific customer requirements. The standard vessel design was not suitable for the small space envelope available for installation.
We rotated the lid and redesigned the handle so that the operators could easily access and maintain the filter bags. A DP gauge was hard piped on the vessels for visual indication of blocked filters.
Siga Filtration has a wide range of single, multi bag and duplex bag filter housings. All units can be customised to suit customer requirements.
Hygienic Filter Trolley
Delivered as a solution for a solvent application for a Pharmaceutical company.
We supplied STERALine FBH and STERALine PBT Hygienic cartridge filter housings assembled in series on a mobile skid to work as a prefilter and fine filter. STERALine FBH housings can be used with filter bags or with a cleanable mesh lined baskets. STERALine PBT housings take Code 7 type polishing filters in a range of micron ratings. These two housings were customised to operate on a trolley for a mobile filtration solution. All sanitary filter housings are constructed with 316 Stainless Steel, come with hygienic connections and internal surface finish of Ra 0.8 or 0.4 micron.
