acuraWedge 1FU(C) self-cleaning filters feature a compact design and inline connections for easy installation. The filter is electrically operated and comes with a 230V, 50Hz electric motor (ATEX version on request). This filter reduces maintenance demands by cleaning continuously and does not require backflush. Wedge wire basket is removable and replaceable. A food grade version is also available for particulate removal from food products.

| Operation | 1- Liquid travels from outside to inside the wedge wire element 2- Particles are deposited on the outside surface of the wedge wire element. 3- A Scraper plate, connected to an electric motor, rotates continuously on the outside surface of the element and scrapes off deposited particles. 4- Dirt is deposited in vessel sump. 5- A manual drain valve can be used to remove the dirt from the vessel at regular intervals. Alternatively, an optional pneumatically operated valve with timer can be used to remove dirt automatically at timed intervals. |
