Siga Filtration offer cartridge filters for applications in industrial, process, food, beverage, and pharmaceutical applications. The standard range includes filters in Polypropylene, Nylon, Polyester, glass fibre, PES, PTFE, PPS, Cotton, and Stainless Steel. These elements can be supplied in many different lengths, diameters, and micron ratings for both coarse and fine filtration. Reusable Stainless steel and plastic elements provide a cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution to filtration. Our food & beverage filter elements are manufactured from food-safe materials and meet or exceed the requirements of current EU regulations.
Depth filter cartridges are used to reduce particulate load before fine filtration (polishing) or to keep the recirculating process fluids clean. These are excellent filters for general use and can be used for industrial and food applications with our FDA approved media. Available materials (Nominal or Absolute): 1) Polypropylene 2) Nylon 3) Polyester 4) Cotton 5) Glass fibre 6)PPS

Stainless steel cartridges provide a number of uses in the process, food & beverage industry. Engineers are often faced with the challenge of chemical compatibility of filtration materials with their process fluid. Stainless Steel has broad chemical compatibility and can replace more common polymeric elements. Our stainless steel elements can be supplied in cylindrical, or pleated construction with mesh, fibre or sintered powder media to meet application requirements. Stainless steel filter cartridges can be cleaned and reused depending on application and type of impurities. Cleaning is usually achieved by pyrolysis, chemical dissolution, ultrasonic baths or pressure jetting. Reusable stainless steel elements can significantly reduce the cost of consumables. These elements have a much higher differential pressure resistance as compared to polymeric elements which makes them a good choice for the filtration of high viscosity liquids. High temperature resistance is another benefit of stainless steel elements and these filters can provide reliable filtration in high temperature applications. Siga Filtration can supply stainless steel filter cartridges manufactured from 304 or 316L grade stainless steel in absolute micron ratings from 3 – 1000 micron. These filters can be supplied in cylindrical or pleated construction in metal fibre, sintered powder, or mesh type media. All elements are available in a range of end caps as well as BSP threaded connections. Our stainless steel elements are suitable for high temperature, corrosive, high viscosity and food & beverage applications. In addition to our standard range, we can can supply elements with non standard diameters and lengths to replace elements by other manufacturers.
